1. The Method – this includes learning the structure of the Ecstatic Trance Dance ™ Method, active meditation; the map of the body; working with the breath; emotional catharsis; how to hold space;
music for ecstatic movement.
2. Passionate Empowerment – this includes learning the tools of being an inspirational teacher;
how to be a success; finding your passion and power. An introduction to Shamanic Practice.
This is an experiential training and you will be required to practice during the training.
Certification is based on full attendance, a practical assessment and a short written examination. The examination will be required to be done within 1 month of attending the course. There will also be an opportunity to teach at one of my classes for more feedback – although this is not compulsory it would be encouraged for your own growth as a teacher!
You will be guided and supported all the way through to express your unique brilliance... Not only will you learn some invaluable tools, but this is also a hugely transformational training on many levels!
Emphasis of the training is to get you empowered to get out there and teach as well as having a format to work from. If you give it your full commitment, I guarantee you will be able to hold a class - all you have to do is go out there and DO IT!
The training takes place over 11 days within stunning countryside, which will enable us to drop deeply into the Process. Within the revised Structure of this programme their will be specialist training from:
Beckie Hanscombe will be the main facilitator and has 16 years experience of working with therapeutic Movement Practices, she brings her dedication, enthusiasm, joy and integrity.
Amoda Maa Jeevan will be drawing on her wealth of experience and knowledge to empower you to find your unique Brilliance and to find your authenticity for this work. Amoda will also be assessing for certification.
Kavi Jezze Hockaday a talented and accomplished musician will be facilitating a live Trance- Dance with Amoda and will be informing the group about musical equipment, live music and choosing your musicians!
Maxine Smillie A Seer and Shaman of this land will bring her extensive and heart centred experience by facilitating an introduction to Shamanic Practices and ceremonial work which will culminate in a Fire Ceremony and outdoors Shamanic Trance-Dance.
