About Beckie Hanscombe:
Beckie is a Shamanic Practitioner with a long history of working with addictions in a professional setting. She encourages evolution through her warm sense of humour and her ability to hold sacred space creates a sense of tribe. Her vision is to incorporate Ecstatic Trance Dance into rehabilitation programmes to help those recovering from addictions. She believes that Ecstatic Trance Dance is a miraculous,
fast track to balance, wholeness and freedom!

About Ma Deva Tara:
Tara has worked as a psychiatric nurse in the field of addiction for the past 10 years. She is a spiritual warrior, qualified through her own personal journey to encourage others to face inner fears, enabling personal freedom, strength and self love.
She is also a certified body worker and healer and feels that the ritual of Ecstatic Trance Dance embodies all the tools for a truly transformational inner journey
“if one is willing to let the small self step aside”.

About Tara Carr:
Tara has been working and teaching as a Creative Artist since 1985, providing a variety of creative art projects in schools, privately and for the community. Since 2003 Tara’s art has evolved coming from a deeper intuitive place within, creating Mandalas and exploring the creative process as a pathway to healing and wholeness.

Tara believes that through ecstatic movement and expressive art a deeply healing transformation occurs, awakening your heart and soul to the joy of life, love, freedom and presence. With warmth, a deep passion and a sense of playfulness, Tara gently guides and invites you to surrender, to trust the process and dive deep, creating a safe, sacred space to step beyond your limitations and connect with spirit.

Marybeth’s passion for dance began in her teens when she discovered dance as a way to heal her wounds and to connect with her deeper sense of self. Marybeth has experienced the transformative power of movement in many different approaches.
She trained with Amoda in 2007/2008 in facilitating Ecstatic Trance Dance with the intention of sharing her passion and experience with others. She says, ‘To be fully alive in my view is to deny neither body nor spirit; through dance we can unify the seemingly separate aspects of our human experience and feel whole and therefore joyful.’

Marybeth has over 12 years’ experience of working in the arts and in healing in various capacities. She currently works in Hastings, East Sussex, as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, a professional visual artist and an Ecstatic Trance Dance facilitator.

Evi has used movement and dance as a way of expression for as long as she can remember. Having worked for 11 years with the body, the mind and the breath as a yoga teacher she has gained a deeper understanding of herself.
Her passion and love for dance guided her to train with Amoda Maa Jeevan as an Ecstatic Dance facilitator in 2010.

Her teaching of this powerful method comes from personal experience, and Evi is passionate and excited to be offering a safe and welcoming space for others to express themselves. Freeing the body from tensions, becoming more grounded and present, taking responsibility for one's self, building confidence and self love and starting to heal on all levels, are possible with practice.

Evi feels it is her souls’ journey to share her discoveries and new found awareness with others and to help them to get in touch with the deeper part of themselves, where transformation and true FreedOm can be achieved.
